Casker, “The Smiler”
“The new sound of textures inspired by vast nature,” reads the video description. I can’t tell if it’s Konglish or the nonsense many of my English literature friends would make up in the last few crunch hours before a paper deadline. Unfortunately, the lyrics are not nearly as inventive as the video description, and there are already English captions on the video. It’s not the same as figuring it out yourself.
English:
You told me
[Now it doesn’t matter to you
Anyone can come to you any time if they want]
[I sincerely wanted to believe you
even though I knew it was a joke
because you were tired of love]
Why am I , why am I not enough for you?
You said none of it matters anymore
Why can’t I, why can’t I leave?
It’s like I’m perpetually chained to your side
It’s always like this
With a blank stare and a deep sigh
How long do I have to watch over you?
Why am I , why am I not enough for you?
You said none of it matters anymore
Why can’t I, why can’t I leave?
It’s like I’m perpetually chained to your side
You never talk about me
I hesitate when our eyes meet
I guess I have to smile again
Why am I , why am I not enough for you?
You said none of it matters anymore
Why can’t I, why can’t I leave?
It’s like I’m perpetually chained to your side
