Royal Pirates, “Drawing the Line”
For CNBLUE fans, the Royal Pirates aren’t much of a stretch, musically. Both groups really nail that pop-rock sound. If I had initially heard “Drawing the Line” without knowing the artist, I might possibly have assumed it was CNBLUE.
There are actually two mvs for “Drawing the Line”: the really boring standard band version and the version that, while highly amusing, totally conflates the meaning of the song. I decided to link the latter version above because I much preferred it. However, while this version makes lead singer Kim Moon Chul look like a total creeper, he is actually singing about how women are dangerous and will hurt you the closer you get (but he wants to love them anyway). So maybe more masochist than creeper.
The ultimate cherry on top of the icing on the cake is that Busker Busker’s drummer, Brad, makes an appearance. WHATUUUP?! Considering how Royal Pirates are originally from the States, his presence isn’t exactly uncalled for.
