House of the Dragonfly
History, “What Am I to You?”
I included the performance version mv because I liked it significantly better than the standard version. The choreography for this song is sharp and dynamic, whereas the standard mv was exactly that… standard and fairly boring. Plus, their outfits combined with the dancing made them look like Jets from West Side Story~
I was totally taken aback by this song, especially since I hadn’t been impressed by History’s previous releases. The sound of “What Am I to You?” is really intriguing, a smooth integration of several styles. The rap intro made me trip up a little, but it set the mood for the song and at least gave a different setup for the song. The whole verse+chorus+verse+chorus+rap+chorus (or close variation thereof) can get incredibly tiring.
